Arrianna communicated with a technician on the Elysium. "I don't need labs online, I need access to the main computer down here, also known as the Sensor Logs and the Quantum Slipstream Drive operation logs." Arrianna noted.

"That I can do, Commander, Easily. Might I ask what you're thinking about?" The technician noted.

"We got here by a QSD Malfunction due to interactions with a Quantum Anomaly. If I know about the accident that got us here.. Then.." She let the technician put it together.

"You could possibly get us back to the Milky Way?"

"But I need to examine the data with Lieutenant Magnus. Right now, it's a hypothesis. We need to have it as a theory before we go this route. Right now the safe bet to getting home after we get the ship working is a five to ten year journey back to the Milky Way and there's a ton of gray area about that idea. And you don't want to know how long it will take using the Warp Drive."

Arri picked up her mug and tried to pour another cup of coffee. "Ensign. Get in here." She noted as she called in the Ensign she had designated as the coffee pot filler. "Fill this please."

"Captain, Commodore.." Arri noted. "Do you want the possibly great news, good news, and the horrible news?"

Thor responded. “I am ready to examine. Athena, hold the for down.” Thor headed to the Science building.”

"Arri. I want all the news, good, great and horrible. Just say what you have to say." Gary replied, wondering just what Arri was going to tell them.

"Yes please get on with it" Phoenix said with a sip of her drink.

"The great news is we can potentially get home... I may have a working hypothesis about how we got here, and possibly... I can form ideas on how to get us home. All we need is another Quantum Filament."

"Oh is that all?" Phoenix asked under her breath.

"The good news is we can return to our galaxy within five to ten years provided our Quantum Slipstream Drive holds up." Arrianna noted. "Which it hasn't been tested with. An intergalactic journey means crossing extra-galactic voids hundreds of thousands of lightyears in distance with no chance of being able to resupply or any form of leave.

"The bad news is, if we don't have the Quantum Slipstream Drive operational, nor can it be rebuilt. Well... Let's just say it would be better if we put down roots here. None of us can live for five hundred thousand years of travel at Warp Six."

“We will be here awhile,” Thor said with not an ounce of optimism but quickly changed his tone, “The anomaly did more damage than first thought. We need to find the resources to rebuild by finding a planet that has it or a civilization that has it.”

Phoenix sighed. "Well maybe we will find someone with the same level of technology out there."
