Alicia lay entangled in both Savar's bed sheets and Savar himself. Her hair was damp with perspiration and get skin shone with a soft sheen as well after passionate love making with Savar. She lay cuddled up in his arms enjoying the feel of being with a man again and their bond had made their love making all the more special. "I'm glad I decided to take this assignment now." She smiled as she rested her head comfortably on Savar's shoulder whilst her fingers trailed along his chest. "I did consider not accepting at first, but something seemed to tell me that I should come here."

For his part Savar lay content and even more importantly he was happy. Alicia had filled a void he had in his life one he wasn't even aware of having since he had lived so long with it. That was of being alone. His people considered him an outcast the humans thought he was cold and aloof a typical Vulcan. Only Alicia had taken the time and effort to see beneath the surface and see him. He was immensely happy she had done so, he turned his head to reply. "I am glad you listened to your inner self Alicia."

"As am I my love." She lifted her head and gave him a gentle yet caring kiss. "I take it our being in a relationship isn't going to cause any problems? You're my superior officer by rank and I'm your superior officer in the Counselling department. The Captain won't find it a conflict of interest will she?"

"I do not see why she would Alicia. The two are separate but equal and do not come into conflict. Not to mention we are adults and know how to keep out professional and personal lives separated."

"With the exception of our bond" Alicia smiled. "I've never felt such feelings during lovemaking before, I could feel your excitement and enjoyment as much as my own. There was a moment when we reached our climax that the sensation was like...our souls meeting. It was so profound it almost hurt."

"A most apt description Alicia." Savar replied. "Our bond allows for a sharing of feelings as well as emotions. In many ways it is a merging of two separate individuals. taking the best of both and magnifying that experience."

"Something is telling me that you'd like our bond to be kept private. I have no problem with that, but if you should ever be in danger I won't hesitate to use it to find you." She raised her head and looked into his eyes. "I've lost one man I loved, I won't lose another if there's anything I can do to stop it."

Alicia, do not think I am embarrassed or ashamed of you and our relationship. I just do not wish to have people ridicule you by you being with me. saying there is Alicia, she's with a walking computer or freezer."

Alicia gently raised her head to look at him. "I don't care what people say, I see a side to you that they don't" She smiled. "Savar...what happens when your time comes to go through Pon'farr? Will I experience it too through our bond?" She looked at him curiously. "I know very little about it."

"I have been thinking of that. I'm not sure if I will go through Pon'farr due to our love making. It may be you have become my mate, though we are not yet married. I will have to study the situation."

Alicia nodded. "Is that possible? I thought Vulcans who were married with mates still went through Pon'farr? Though I'll be glad for you if you don't have to go through it. Just know that if you do, I will be here for you."

"Vulcans can have intercourse anytime they choose Alicia, as seen by our recent lovemaking. The Pon'farr occurs every seven years where we enter the Plak Tow, the blood fever, where we become violent and must mate or enter kal-if-fee. I am hopeful our mating will have if nothing else pushed back my Pon'farr."

Alicia nodded again as she cuddled back up. "Hopefully then Imzadi." She stopped talking as they cuddled to enjoy the moment before suddenly sitting up. "Savar are you..." She paused to think how to word it. "What I mean is do you..." She sighed. "Do you take or use...male contraception?" She hated the way that sounded. "It's just...I've had two years without a partner I've had no use for contraception! It wouldn't matter but I'm at the high point in my body's cycle!"

He nodded, "I think you said it quite well." He quipped. It was straight to the point. Relax Alicia, you are not at risk of becoming pregnant.... at least not at this time."

Alicia relaxed back into his arms. "I'm sorry, I just...didn't want to mess things up between us. I would like to be a mother just when we're ready for it. That's if you want children?" She looked at Savar curiously.

"You never 'mess' things up between us Alicia. You will an excellent mother and yes I would like children and we will have them when the time is right."

"Then I will look forward to that time Imzadi" she leant forward and gave him a passionate kiss. "So teach me more about the Vulcan art of lovemaking."

"A lesson I am most happy to instruct you on Alicia." He said taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately.
