As per usual the morning in Alicia’s household was a busy one, between getting herself ready, and organising Connor and N’Vea. Soral was normally already up and organised, helping Savar by laying the table ready for breakfast.

Sitting down at the breakfast table she took a brief look at her messages ready to organise her morning Counselling schedule. Between that and popping in to see how her mother was coping with new siblings, and her bridge duties she was going to be kept busy.

Once breakfast was over she helped to tidy up, then finished getting ready to take the children to nursery and school. Soral was proving himself to be a great big brother, his Vulcan logic was as infallible as Savar’s though she saw very little emotion in her adoptive son, unlike her beloved Savar though she had no doubt that once Soral was older he would eventually find a love of his own to show his suppressed emotions to.

“Everyone ready?” She smiled as she picked up the school and nursery bags from the floor, giving Savar a kiss goodbye as well. “Let’s get going.”

Meanwhile in Sickbay, the morning gathering of the nurses and medics was taking place Heather smiled as she put out some snacks for those gathered. It wasn’t the usual thing for a meeting, but she liked people to be comfortable and for those who tended to skip breakfast it made sure they had something to start their morning off right.

“Morning!” Emily was as always bright eyed, and bushy tailed (as the saying went) when she arrived for shift.

“Morning Emily” Kara smiled as she walked in joining everyone else. She’d left Mal with the job of dropping off their little one at nursery, it was something he liked to do. She had no regrets at all after the rocky start their relationship had all those years ago, she loved him to bits and he knew it.

“Morning all” Leilani offered as she arrived, she had not just a meeting in Sickbay but the usual briefing down in marine country to attend as well. Her duties as Combat Medic kept her busy between main sickbay and the smaller facility she had. Though there was also her duties as Archaeologist and Anthropologist alongside everything else. Between her family, and her duties she certainly had good time keeping skills.

“Right…” Heather smiled as she motioned everyone present to tuck into whatever they wanted. “Let’s cover last night’s reports, just so we’re all on the same page this morning.” She looked at her PaDD. “I have a few mentions regarding Doctor Sthilg, saying he's looking tired. Can’t say I’m surprised with him having twins in his household now, let’s try and help him out as much as we can during shift.

“I’d have thought he’d have wanted some parental leave” Leilani added. “There's enough staff to cope, but with these attacks on the ship it’s not giving him much chance of time off.

“We’ll see what we can do” Heather nodded. “If things calm down long enough then maybe he’ll get lucky. “If not then we take up the slack alongside the rest of the Sickbay staff and give Sthilg a chance to get away early.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

“Wonderful” Heather smiled. “Now the next matter to discuss is…
