Once they were gone, "Away team 4 will be commanded by Commander Taylor and consist of Lieutenant Commander Turak, Lieutenant Alicia Kelea-Salik,Sergeant Heather De La Rosa and MrMalak Kavanagh" Phoenix looked at them. "Good luck" and she waved them to the transporter padd. "Co-ordinates are set." She said. "Energise when ready."

Alicia and Heather both moved to join Taylor as they're names were mentioned, giving each other a smile as they did so. "We're ready" Heather smiled as she looked at Gary.

"Excellent. Just relax and concentrate on your jobs. All will be fine." Gary replied as he turned to Turak and Kavanagh. "Commander Turak, Mr. Kavanagh. if you'll be so kind to join us, we can be on our way.'

"Gladly, Sir," said Turak as he stepped up on the transporter pad. "This will be another success for the books - albeit a little strange though!"

"Just another day in Starfleet Mr. Turak." Gary replied. "Now, let's go see if we can find our wayward Commander Westin."

Malak did so silently, considering the events.

A moment later they were gone, appearing in a secluded ally on the outer reaches of town. Gary looked over their landing spot. No one was around. "Alright, stay together, no one wanders off by themselves. Act like you belong here."

"A little difficult when you're not used to this place or era in time" Alicia looked around nervously. "but I will do my best."

"Very true counselor." Gary replied "So in that case, fake it."

Alicia smiled. “That I can do Sir.”

"Then let us commence the search for Commander Westin." Gary answered as he looked for a place to begin their search. "Let's start with the taverns unless anyone has a better idea." Gary told the group.

"That would be a good place to start, as I understand, taverns were an excellent source of information in this era," commented Turak. He decided to take the lead and walked towards the street ahead of the group. He figured that finding a tavern wouldn't be a difficult task - however, finding one that had been frequented by Commander Westin might involve a little more investigation...

"Well we won't find him by standing here talking about it. we're just going to get ourselves noticed." Gary answered. "Alicia, Heather lets go and do some bar hopping. Maybe we'll get lucky and find Westin or at least a clue to where he is."

Turak follows Commander Taylor's lead. "I'm with you, Sir."

Alicia and Heather both nodded at the same time. “We’re ready when you are Sir” Heather looked at Taylor.

"Very good." Gary replied. "Lets do this." he said to them as they walked out of the ally and began looking for the nearest tavern to begin their search for Westin.

Suddenly from behind them there was the familiar sound of a Federation Transporter. Moments later the figures of Arri and Thornhill emerge from the ally and walk towards them. "Arri, Lt. Thornhill what are you doing here?" Gary asked the pair.

Arrianna walked foward. "We have recovered one survivor from a previous expedition into the void from a scout vessel. The USS Miranda. A Lieutenant Josephine Carlyle." Arri noted. "Unfortunately we have a very real, very unpleasant complication. The expedition's CO has gone rouge and comitted multiple violations of General Order 1. Suffice to say, he has significant influence on the British Monarch in this time period." Arri mentioned. "We need to find and remove Commander James Westin immediately."

Gary listened as Arri gave him an update, When she had finished he spoke. "Damn fool. This isn't good. Alright, do we have any idea where he might be? Extraction isn't going to be easy if he's in a public place." He looked back to Arri, "No indication, that he's gone to ground or he knows we're here hunting for him?"

Arri nodded. "Horses are interesting creatures, Commander." She showed him her tricorder. "I own two of them at my residence on Alindar, and one time one of them spooked and got lost one afternoon." She mentioned. "I Then traced Elsa with my tricorder, analyzing the excrement, for her DNA to verify my scans for her, that horses usually leave as they travel, just like any other lifeform. Furthermore, Horseshoes are like a human fingerprint. All are quite unique in their structure and configuration due to the forging methods used in their design. If we can trace the horse Commander Weston used to make his escape earlier today, we can find Weston. There were about six horses travelling the path near the castle we found Lt. Carlyle." Arri took Gary aside. "Be mindful with Lt. Carlyle. She's cooperated, but she's also been evasive." She whispered.

Gary listened as Arri spoke of how the away team could track Westin. When she had finished he nodded, "Whatever works Arri. Let's find Westin and get him back to the ship then hopefully we can get back to our time period. As for Lt. Carlyle, understood. She's trying to figure out her best option here, give us the information in dribs and drabs or just clam up. By giving us some information she can always say she is cooperating in an ongoing investigation."

"All due respect, Commander. This is no time to be thinking about the aftermath. We need to ponder the here and now. Im certain this is a predestination paradox, and James Westin must either be apprehended... or eliminated. I don't use that word lightly, and the thought of it disturbs me." She looked at Varis. "I'd rather us deal with this than to be subject to the full length and width of the authority of Temporal Investigations."

Malak sighed "Perhaps we should move about, being stationary can be an issue?" he suggested diplomatically as he looked around.

"Trust me Arri. I'm thinking on the hear and now." Gary answered and then nodded to Malak. "Good point Mr. Kavanaugh. Alright everyone lets move ...literally."

Alicia nodded as she and Heather started off in the direction they had planned to go. A group standing around did look off in the current circumstances.

As each group started to go in their own direction, Turak suggested to Commander Taylor, "Sir, 'The Iron Lion Pub' over there looks as good as a place as any to start.....shall we?"

"An excellent idea Mr. Turak. Lets go," Gary replied as the pair headed for the Iron Lion Pub.

As they headed for the pub a call came from the Elysium recalling them to the ship. It seemed Ensign Derani had failed to check in. Causing concern for the other away team members still on the planet's surface.

“Well that was quicker than expected” Alicia shrugged her shoulders. “Still better safe than sorry.”

Heather nodded in agreement. She was sure Fernando would feel better knowing she was safely back onboard ship.
