Jessica continued to check another corridor. Moving swiftly and silently. The place was massive, and she was having trouble finding anyone. She was wondering how Heather and Fernando were fairing.
Moving through the Corridors, she was wondering how much time she had left. That was when she heard voices up ahead. She signalled to Man'darr to cover her. Doing a roll out of cover, she shown her phaser rifle's light on a group of people
Gary heard a sound behind him and turned, noticing Savar had heard the same noise.
Neri froze and pressed against the wall as a female came around the corner.
Jess spoke. "Commander Taylor.... Need a phaser rifle? I got one for all of you at a nice and secure room we've found here." She spoke into her comm. "Heather, Fernando. I found the XO and some more of our people. Saddle up and get back to the rendezvous. We're not going to have long until our dog day afternoon."
"Jess!" Gary replied happily. "You are a sight for sore eyes and yes I certainly do want a phaser rifle."
Fernando heard Jess's call for Heather and himself to come to her location. "Heather! Jess found Commander Taylor and more of our people! We're going to meet her."
Heather was just up ahead scouting a room. “Acknowledged” she smiled as she returned to his side. “It’ll be good to see more of our people.”
"Okay here's the deal folks." Jess leaned against the wall. "So, they took the ship, but they didn't sweep it very well. Some of us evaded their so-called 'hunters' when they sent them onboard to do a sweep. Naxea went out with some of her people to draw them off." Jess noted. "I managed to get a distress signal out, but it's narrow band and I don't know if it got picked up. Pretty much it's addressed to anyone here these people have pissed off. Frankly, we're at the point where the enemy of our enemy is our friend. That.." Jessica rubbed her head. "Even with the double dose of telepathic suppressors I've taken. The level of suffering here is just pissing me off even more. I managed to do an EVA over here with Warrant Officer Man'darr and the Del La Rosa's. We are going to break our crew out and take our ship back. Then I will personally get my squadron fully loaded and send these son's-of-a-bitches to the four hells." The torture was pissing the Betazoid off to no end. But the torture was wearing on the Betazoid Warrior Telepathy. She was getting angrier.
Making their way back to Jess and the others Heather too was suffering from the effects of the emotions on the station. She massaged her temples before grabbing out the hypo Jess had tossed over earlier and giving herself a full dose. She looked at Fernando. “I can’t keep this up forever, no telepath can. Continual doses of inhibitor aren’t good over an extended period of time.”
"This needs to end. We need to defeat them and get our ship back and get back to our universe." Fernando answered. He was worried about Heather and her constant exposure to the tidal wave of emotions she was experiencing.
Jess spoke. "We can talk as we're moving." She lead the way to the rendezvous. "Their troops are very good, but their discipline and organization are severely lacking. They believe us defeated, and that is a mistake that will cost them dearly. As long as we can run them ragged, the more damage we can do."
“We need to find out what they use to stop their telepaths suffering here” Heather looked at Jess. “We can only go so long here before the input drives us insane!”
"We'll find it Heather, I promise. Just stay strong." Fernando implored his wife.
“I will Fernando” Heather smiled. “As long as I’m with you.”
Jess spoke. "Hang in there Heather. We don't have orders from the Federation to go insane." Jess was pondering this carefully, they had to have some kinda thing to ensure their telepaths didn't go insane. But what if they captured someone who knew something? They wouldn't be able to interrogate a lunatic. Jess looked at Heather and quieted her mind.
These people were not going to like what Jessica had in mind, but right now, It was Heather that she was going to rely on for this idea to work. Of course, they would stop her.
Man'darr stood silently, listening to Jess and the others talk as his eyes kept scanning the corridor, keeping his Heavy Automatic Pulse Rifle at the ready.
Neri waited at the back of the group. When they were all busy talking, she slipped away back into the darkness of the station.
Looking over the group, Man'darr did a second count of everyone. "Wait...are we missing someone?"
Jess looked around. "Ensign zh'Rillror!!!"
[[Attention Slaves. Your Prison Hounds will be released in ten minutes. Run...]]
Jessica looked around. "Man'darr. The shelter."
Man'darr nooded as he moved to the Point position in the group. "Let's go."
"We can't look for her! We have to get to the shelter me and Man'darr constructed. C'mon. We're not going to be dog food."
Malak looked at them as they moved. "She isn't our's. She is from here. she was helping us!"
"We'll figure this out later." Jess lead the group into the shelter and began to push several metal crates into the doorway.
