Mission: SEASON 4: Episode 1: Know Thy Self!
Location: USS Elysium - Medical

"Ok.." They moved swiftly to check on the man. He was just unconscious. "We will take him to medical under guard" The lead officer said. "And we will notify Commander Holmes"

"Do that" came the captain's reply.

With not so gentle movements, they tagged the man and beamed out for medical.

As they did so, Avalon appeared and informed Phoenix "Captain, sensors have notified us that a young child appeared in one of the VIP Cabins."

"Child?"

"Yes. A child, female, human around the age of 7-8."

Phoenix sighed. "JUST ONCE" she yelled.

"Captain?" The AI asked

"just once Avalon, i would like a quiet time. Get an ensign in that cabin, one from Ops, to be there when the child wakes up. I am sure it has something to do with the visitor. And at 7h, inform Commanders Taylor, Holmes, Sthlig and Lt Korath to meet me in Medical with our new guest."

"Yes Captain." the AI vanished.

Phoenix sighed again and sat down on her bed. A glance at the Chrono had her wincing. She would not sleep again this night.

==MEDICAL==

Victor slowly wakes up in medical. Seeing several in there, he asks "Where is Captain Mira King and my daughter Lara? She is Mira's niece."

The summoned officers arrived in Medical.

"The Captain is Phoenix Lalor, as for your daughter I believe she's safe at this time", Commander Holmes replied, she looked at Phoenix for some direction. Just how do you deal with a sudden appearance like this? And more importantly, were they MU? Holmes didn't want to jump to conclusions, but after what they had all just been through the idea that they might be was top of her mind.

Phoenix gave a shrug to Holmes. "Hey, I am all for semi naked men raining in my cabin but not at 04h00" she quipped.

Commander Taylor received the message from Avalon to be in medical at the appointed time. Arriving he saw Lia and a security team surrounding the bed of a man, a man he didn't know. "What's going on?" he asked.

Lia turned to see Gary enter, "Now that's a very good question, would you like to hazard a guess?" She turned back to the stranger, he wasn't acting as an MU would but that didn't mean he wasn't.

Victor looks around as so many thoughts went through his head. "My name is Lt. Commander Victor Barclay de Tolly, Chief Engineer of the USS Excalibur. I am the son of Professor Lara Barclay de Tolly. My daughter is named after my mother. Her mother Ensign Tonya King Barclay de Tolly who died seven years ago but you probably all know that already. Am I still on the Elysium?"

"Still?" Gary asked looking at the others.

"yeah Still?" Phoenix echoed.

Sthilg didn't recognize the name, but he was running a scan to see if the stranger was from the MU nightmare they had escaped from. As the data came in his white eyes widened. The stranger showed energy signs of being from another reality, but not the nightmare one they'd recently escaped. What was eye-widening was that if this was true Commander Pyotr Zhukov was the man's father not Professor Lara Barclay de Tolly as he calimed.

" Well he'sss not from the mirror universsse we essscaped from. I think he'sss from another reality. " The gorn said to the relief of the room.

"I am going to need to talk to someone with Department of Temporal Investigations, maybe your Chief Science Officer and maybe a Counselor, " he says looking around. "Can someone replicate me a shirt? Seems I left my shirt in the other Reality."

"Now just hold your horses Lieutenant, before you go demanding things how about you tell us what the hell happened to possibly bring you here". Holmes wasn't having people jump at this person's demands, he wasn't going to baffle her with bullshit not after the MU experience.

"I am an engineer," Victor answers politely. "Not a Quantum Expert. Maybe it has something to do with my father being a time traveler.." He thought for a moment. "Maybe I will need a physical as well," Victor nodded. "Plus if my daughter and I came over, maybe my sister Nichelle came as well. She is on the USS Borodino."

Phoenix looked at the assembled officers "I think I am resigning, It is too blasted early for this. someone get him a shirt and where is Lieutenant Korath?"

Gary smiled in understanding at Phoenix's statement. It was one he could readily identify with. "Has a sweep been done of the ship to see if any other 'guests' have shown up? Perhaps this man's sister?"

"If she is anywhere," Victor answers, "She has been recently transferred to the USS Borodino. I bet she is going through this as well."

Holmes glanced at Gary, "If you wouldn't mind asking the bridge to scan for unidentified life signs Commander, I'll send a security team to that location". Lia looked back at the man, "What makes you think your sister would end up here?"

"Like I said earlier," Victor says, "My sister is on the Borodino. She started there this week. Her transfer came up from Starfleet unexpectedly. Maybe Professor Runyon knows something. He is an El Aurian and he is working for the Department of Temporal Investigations now."

"Or was as far as you last know." Gary replied tapping his combadge, "Bridge run a ship wide scan for any unidentified life signs." He glanced at Lia, "Now we wait."

She looked around the sickbay, her mind working out what to ask or say next. "This Professor, Runyon is it? How do you know he even exists in this time line?"

"Just a hunch," Victor answers. "My father came from the future according to what my mother said. He came back to stop someone messing up the timeline only to get killed by killing the Starfleet Officer who went rogue. Somehow the timeline must have been restored."

Olivia went over to one of the replicators and punched a few buttons to request a shirt for their unexpected guest. Once the shirt appeared Olivia picked it up and took it over to their guest. “I guessed at the size, so hopefully it fits,” Olivia said as she handed the shirt to Victor.

Victor put it on as she felt it was a little tight. Vick being the gentleman, he said to Olivia remembering her from the other universe as an unjoined Trill. "Thank you Doctor Carter I assume."

“Carter is my family name,” Olivia replied, “but I use the name of my symbiont which is Voight. I’m guessing the other version of me that you know is not currently joined.”

"Well then let me rephrase," Victor saying with his suave smile, "I guess since I am in Sickbay, I need my physical." Victor exhaled a bit at the thought his Reality had been erased and reolaced with the original.

"Among other reasons," Olivia replied. "One thing is to figure out how you ended up here in our time line."

"A few theories but most prominent is someone corrected the timeline. "

== Counselor's Office ==

Little Lara holding her IPADD was brought in to the Counselor's office because it seem to be the logical thing to do. The Security Guard was very nice. She sat as she waited to see the Counselor as she sensed nothing was wrong. After all, she has been seeing a counselor before because she has been dreaming of her mother recently.

Alicia stepped out of her office surprised to see a young girl sitting waiting. She’d had to bring young Connor with her though fortunately he was sleeping peacefully. “Hi there” Alicia smiled warmly. “I take it you’re new here? Why don’t you come on in ... I’m Alicia, the Chief Counsellor.”

Lara facepalms herself with both hands. In the Reality she came from, Alicia was in that universe as well just like this one. "It is me Miss Alicia," she said like a big girl. "I am Lara, daughter of Victor Barclay de Tolly, niece of Captain Mira King."

The Security Guard whispers to Alicia, "She was found in a VIP Quarters and her father was found in the Captain's Quarters. He too mention Captain Mira King. She is serving on the new USS Izar. We did a DNA scan on the child. She is Mira's niece. Her mother is Lt. Tonya King who is on Starbase 16."

Lara was trying to hear what was going but they were speaking too low.

Alicia nodded. “How’s about you come into my office, and we’ll talk.” Walking into her office She motioned to a seat. “Don’t mind young Connor there, he’s sleeping so he won’t bother us.” She offered a warm smile. “Now ... I’m afraid to say we haven’t met before, at least not in this reality.”

Lara understood what she meant. "Are you saying I am in a different reality? I feel like am dreaming."

Alicia nodded. “That’s exactly what I’m saying. You understand better than I thought you would. It must be very disconcerting for you?”

"Still has not hit me yet," Lara said, "So what is going to happen? Is my father and I going to remain in this universe plus could you see if my mother is alive in this universe? She died when I was one."

“I’d have to speak to your father about that one I’m afraid” Alicia offered a warm smile. “How’s about right now I replicate you something to eat and drink? Once I get the say so we’ll go find your father.”

"I love buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit," she said grinning as one tooth was missing.

“Then that is what you’ll have!” Alicia smiled warmly and headed for the replicator.

Tate hit the chime outside Alicia's office, still not quite sure if she believed what she had been told by a junior counselor who reported seeing a security officer out in the lobby. Normally, Tate wouldn't bother to investigate, but given everything they had just been through and knowing Alicia had Connor with her and was currently pregnant, she allowed herself to indulge her concern.

== USS Borodino. ==

Lt. Nichelle Barclay de Tolly was just informed her brother and niece was alive and well on the USS Elysium after Runyun told her she is in a new reality. Runyun requested to talk to Victor later after both had made their reports. Plus Runyon had to do an important task which was releasing Zhukov from cryogenics. Since he was on the Borodino, Runyon asked her to accompany him to the Science Lab.

Nichelle did just that. When she walks in she saw one Cryogenic case. There was a man who had been frozen some time. "Lieutenant, be prepared to meet your father Commander Pyotr Zhukov. Your actual one died but this is the one from this reality. It is complicated to explain. He goes back in time to stop a guy name Hastings only it did not go as planned because he first gets your mother pregnant and he got himself killed. I sent another one back from your time to do the job right and prevent the other one from messing up with the timeline. Do you comprehend?"

She did the math in her head. "I understand completely." So now she watched patiently as her father got defrosted.
