After a very long day of training cadets the finer points of starfighters and how they are used in the Fleet, George finally made his way home. Though he was exhausted, this time of day always invigorated him. Coming home to his family. Ever since he and Leilani had wed, he has finally learned what he had only heard about, the joy of going home. Then, when they adopted Hendor, that sweet, kind little boy, their home grew warmer. And now, with the addition of their little angel of a daughter, it felt to George as if his life had finally reached that destination of perfection.

Upon reaching his family's home, the doors slid apart and George stepped inside. "Hello?" He called out, when he saw the living room empty.

“Ohh Hi sweetheart!” Leilani smiled as she popped her head out of the nursery doorway. “Sorry I didn’t hear you come in.”

Seeing his beautiful wife, George instantly smiled happily. He then transmitted his love and desire for her over their connection. Some of the images were quite descriptive, to be sure. Moving over to where Leilani stood, George gathered her up into his arms and kissed her deeply.

Leilani returned George’s kiss sending images of her own back through their connection, complete with a promise for later that night.

As they were locked together, the unmistakable sound of their young son, Hendor, could be heard, giggling softly. Seeing his parents love each other so openly, made his little heart warm and happy.

Leilani couldn’t help but grin at the sound of Hendor’s laughter, she loved her children as much as she did George.

Hearing the giggles as well, George turned his eyes u es towards the young boy that held both of their hearts. "And you, young man," he said with a warm grin. "Have you been a good boy for your Mama today?"

Hendor beamed a huge smile at his father as he hurried over and hugged them both. "Yes, Papa!" He replied happily.

“Hendor is always a good boy” Leilani smiled. “You’re the perfect big brother too aren’t you?”

The young boy smiled brightly as he hugged his mother again.

George sent a feeling of warm love to both of them, then asked them, "So, what should we do this afternoon?" His gaze moved between the both of them as he spoke.

“I’m happy spending time with all of you” Leilani smiled. “Any time with my precious family is time well spent.”

Hendor asked excitedly, "Can we go to the park with Sky and her family?!"

George considered the question, then glanced at Leilani. "What do you think, Imzadi?"

“I think that sounds like a wonderful idea” Leilani smiled and nodded. “That’s if Sky and her family want to join us.”

George smiled softly as he responded and looked down at Hendor. "Why don't you help Mama get your baby sister ready to go, and I'll give Sky's Aunt and Uncle a call."

The little boy's grin grew wide and he nodded excitedly. He then let go of his parents and hurried to his sister's nursery.

Leilani grinned as she headed after Hendor, it wouldn’t take long for them to get ready. “Can you make sure we’ve got the baby bag packed please Hendor, last time I saw it I put it behind the door.”

Hendor nodded and grinned as he replied. "Yes, Mama!" He then found and grabbed the bag, lifting it and carrying over to his mother, so she could check its contents.

While his family got ready, George tapped his commbadge and made the call. "Captain Charles to Staff Sergeant Reece." He then waited for the reply.

Liam had just finished taking his shower, when his commvadge chipped and he heard the voice of the voice of the Marine pilot. Moving over to grab his badge, he tapped it. "Reece here, sir. What can I do for you?"

=/\=Afternoon, Liam,=/\= George began. =/\=Leilani and I were wondering if you and your family had any plans this evening. We were about to head out to the Arboretum, and Hendor asked if you both and Skylah could come as well?=/\=

Liam grinned when he heard young Hendor's request. It was very cute how he and Sklyah had formed such a strong friendship. He quietly hoped that they'd have each other for a long time to come. "Let me ask Sam, but I don't think there is any issue. I'll call you back if we can't make it. Otherwise, we will see you there, Sir."

=/\=Sounds good, Liam,=/\= George responded, then added, =/\=And George is fine when we are discussing our families like this.=/\=

Liam nodded, though he knew the other man could not see him. "Understood, George. Talk soon. Reece out." He then double tapped the commbadge, closing the channel. He quickly dried off and got dressed, then exited he and Samaire's master bedroom and moved over to where his wife was sitting on the couch. "Hey, babe," he said with a loving grin as he leaned down, giving her a kiss on her left cheek. "I just had a call from Captain Charles. Apparently, his family is going yo spend the afternoon in the Arboretum, and his son has requested our presence." His grin reached his eyes, sparkling a bit, as he continued, "Of course, I'm sure Little Miss is his primary request, and we are just to tag along." He chuckled warmly. "What do you think? I told George that I'd discuss it with you before giving him a reply."

Samaire nodded. "Sure, no issue here. Tell them we would love to."

Liam grinned and nodded in reply. "Alright. I'll let 'em know now. Why dont you and Sky get ready while I call George."

Samaire nodded. She got up to go get their neice.

A short while later, the two families met up at the tree that Skylah and Hendor had claimed as theirs. Liam looked down at Leilali and George's new daughter and smiled warmly. "She's beautiful! What's her name again?"

“Aviana” Leilani smiled as she looked down at her daughter. “We both liked the name when we were making our choices.” She gave George a big smile.

George smiled warmly, as he put his arm around his wife's shoulders, giving her a gentle squeeze and a quick kiss on her lips. He thrn chuckles softly as he added, "Of course, it doesn't hurt that that was the name that Leilani smiled the most about before we made it official."

Liam smiled at them both, glad that he and Samaire had friends like them. It could have been far different, he knew. However, the chances of it happening, especially on a starship, were very remote. He also glanced at Samaire, a knowing grin on his face.
