Mission: SEASON 4: Episode 1: Know Thy Self!

Timeline: MD4 - Early in the day

A small team beamed over to the USS Elysium from the Arena.

They were only 6 in number but they had a goal. Free the ship and find those in hiding.

Lieutenant Commander Turak, Lieutenant Commander Sthilg, Lieutenant Sapphire Morgan, Lieutenant Scott Gregory, Ensign T'Kek and Malak Kavanagh all beamed into the transporter room on Deck 37, mere meters from where several crew and civilians were holed up.

Sapphire grabbed a tricorder and began to scan. "Yeah found them where Arri informed us we would. To the left, 50 meters down." she said to the group.

The gorn nodded, but not before he grabbed the rooms transporter room medical kit. they'd be needing it.

T'Kek moved near the door. "Is everyone ready?" he asked.

" Wait." the gorn said as he fished around for an injury marker in the kit. " In case were ssseprated we need a mark to tell usss apart from are counterpartsss. " he said pulling out the two the kit contained. A black and a white one. " Come here and I'll draw a sssymbol ssso we can tell each other apart from are counterpartsss."

Turak stepped up for a mark from the gorn, and responded "excellent idea with the mark." He asked Sapphire, "are there any readings of our counterparts nearby on the tricorder?"

"No, but that does not mean they are not lurking about." She slid to the front of the group. "We will most likely find civilians and children hiding here. Not many were on the Arena."

The gorn hurriedly drew a black and white Maltese cross on everyone's right cheek. Primitive, but it would work.

Selecting heavy stun on his phase rifle, Turak said, "well, it would be best that we get to the civilians and children as fast as we can. I'll take point if you'll stay on your tricorder, Sapphire...?"

"of Course" She replied. "But lets move shall we?"

"Sounds good," Turak replied as he started carefully moving down an unlit passageway with his rifle at the ready.

They moved as a group down the hall, and Sapphire tapped Turak on the shoulder to stop him when they came to a junction.

Stepping around him she rapped on a heavy door panel.

Issac was drifting in and out. He sensed someone close to him. He wasn't sure. Trying to move his arms was useless. He heard pounding somewhere.

McKay was just starting to come down, her Nanites Reluctantly filtering the Remaining Morphine from her system as she Attempted to tend to the wounded officer, whom she couldn't quiet yet place his name. She Grimaced as she silently glanced between the Medical Tricorder and her patient, Glad for small Miracles that none of the cadets had attempted to tend to her.

The warrant officer Was a bundle of nerves, his small vulpine frame had been Prowling through the ducts and Cavities of the Nacelle for Securing bulkheads and hatches as he went, all the while he was checking his Carbines thermal scope to make sure it was just him and the Few Officers he'd managed to stumble across.

Serenity slowly edged to the door. Since Arri had come and gone with Imik and Vanessa, they had waited in silence, with Serenity slipping out with Sandtail for food and water briefly.

The children were all huddled in groups, and the cadets were interspersed among them.

Sere glanced back at the wounded Drake and McKay and then slowly opened the door, Phaser rifle raised.

Sthilg was hanging back keeping an eye on the corridor when his ears heard the sound of a holo cart moving. With a wave of his hand, he indicated to the rest of the team to take cover as a terran woman passed pulling a holo cart full of what obviously was stolen crew positions. His eyes burned as he noticed some of his books pocking out fo one of the bags.

Sapphire waved Serenity back as they hid from sight. Once the woman was gone, she slid the door open to reveal Serenity, Sandtail standing guard before a large group of Civilians, Cadets and wounded officers.

"I hate this..." Sandtail muttered. "What I wouldn't do for a squad of Arten Tempest Troopers And an AFV..." he said as he glanced back at the civilians briefly to try and rest his eye from the constant glare of his thermal Scope. "I'd have this ship cleared and Cleaned out in a matter of hours," he thought for a moment before he pressed his cheek back to the carbine. "Never thought I'd miss the Crawl Ways of a Siege cruiser though."

Scott was the rear guard for the group and he couldn't tell what was going on up front. He just prayed Sapphire was alright. Shaking the thought from his head, he concentrated on the moment and keeping everyone safe.

Sapphire moved into the room and led her team in. She turned to the doctor. "Doc we have wounded here"

As the last entered, she and Serenity closed the door.

The gorns head snapped around as his instincts took over. " Do we have any medicel sssuppliesss." He said moving to the most wounded patent.

"We have a few." Serenity replied "But they are not much." She admitted "Lieutenant Drake and Lieutenant McKay are badly wounded and we have been unable to move them for the whole time."

"I will volunteer to go and retrieve more medical supplies," T'Kek offered.

Sapphire looked at the Warrant Officer. "Warrant Officer, Lt. Commander Turak is going to lead us to the bridge to take back our ship. Are you up for that?"

Scott caught Sapphire's statement and he spoke up quickly. "What about me Sapphire?"

"I figured you already were, but the Warrant officer has been stuck in here for a few days.." she smiled

"Just checking." he bantered back as he checked his phaser rifle.

Responding to Sapphire's comment, Turak turned to the group after he had had a look around the room, "We should move out immediately and take the bridge now - we will have the element of surprise. Is everyone who's going ready?"
