==READY ROOM==

Snow worked his little motors out swearing in binary that he hadn't be allowed to upgrade his body. The four arms would have come in handy. " Nerinath i need you to put pressure just on her wound i need to remove the dart." The exocom said franticly as a loud beep came from his body. " Why did they have to invade while i was recharging." He yelled with anger in his machine voice.

“Can’t you beam her into Medical?” Neri asked.

Lovejoy looked at the little exocomp. "What can the I, the rest of us do to assist you?"

" No i can't beam her there not with my power levels so low I'd likely end up in a wall and she's not stable enough to use the ships." Snow said as he carefully used his small tractor beam to remove the dart before he furiously began sealing the incision. " Ah the ready rooms replicators still working can you replicate me medical kit 3545?" The small robot asked Lovejoy.

"Certainly." Lovejoy as he headed to the ready room. "You did say medical kit 3545 correct?"

Lia had been listening to the talking from Snow and everyone around it, she now walked over and put her two pence in. "Couldn't you connect to the ships power conduit and simply draw power from it? Surely a fast charge would work for you to transport both yourself and her to sick bay?"

" I could but without my charging box, my batteries could explode if they fast charge." Snow said turning his body slightly. " And yes commander 3545. I need the blue and green vials."

Walking back to Snow, Lovejoy handed the vials over. "Here you are, I hope this is going to help her?"

Lia scanned the ready room with her eye's looking for anything which could be of use. It wouldn't take Green and his cohorts long to fathom a way around the forcefield, they had to be ready if and when they did.

" Thank you." Snow said as he tracked the small fluid into his injector and injected it into the injured crew. Her breathing steadied and the small robot let out a happy beep. " She's stabilised though we'll need to get her to the med bay as soon as we can. " he squeaked.

Reece glanced back at the group. "Yeah, short of transporters, I don't see how we can get past Heir Hitler and his neozombies." But then, a grin crossed his face as an idea came to him. "Actually, I got an idea." It was the kind of grin that usually meant crazy idea coming soon.

Nerinath stood and walked in silence to the wall next to the replicator. She took a breath. And slammed her fist into the wall, shattering what was there. It was not real metal. She pulled pieces of what was well disguised cardboard from the hole it covered. “Captain Lalor’s secret stash of weapons.” She said softly. “Her.. last Yeoman told me about it when we hit the Mirror universe.” She looked at Reece and Lovejoy. “There is also an escape hatch beneath the desk.”

Lovejoy nodded. “Ok… King, You and Snow get the Counselor ready to travel. Nerinath, get that hatch open. Mr Reece, you and Commander Taylor, check out that weapon stash and hand them out.”
Whatever else he was going to say was cut off. [[Separation in 30 seconds!]]

"Now might not be the best time to move her, and we'd better brace ourselves because I think this is going to be rough", Lia noted. She sat down on the floor, "It's safer to be down here already, than end up here later because of a rushed separation sequence".

“Understood,” Lt. Tonya King answered.

==BATTLE BRIDGE==

Jessica looked at Crewman Hopkins' body.. Her teeth and fist clenched tight.. Rage building in her. "That doe it... Those racist nazi sonofabitches.." She walked back into the battle bridge and pulled someone away from tactical. "If they want a war... I'll give them a goddess damned war. I'm targeting all of their military installations. Every last one."

[["Erm, boss, are you alright? I see a lot of people near you."]] Myne's voice once more broke out through the speakers. [["The transporters in the saucer section that I believe are in enemy hands have been sabotaged. I teleported away components that render them unusable."]] The Trill gave her report anxiously.

"Good work lieutenant. Stand by for now. Whavi out." When Baeryn finished she looked to David.

As Baeryn replied to the comm, David, after stepping into the battle bridge, suddenly stumbled and collapsed against the nearest railing. He grimaced in pain as the adrenaline wore off and all of his injuries sent screaming reports to his exhausted brain.

Quickly she stepped to his side and helped him into a near by chair, not prepared for the weight she would bare by helping him. "Take it easy there Corporal," she said softly before stepping back to the center of the battle bridge. They needed to locate Commander Taylor and fast.

As Baeryn stepped away again, David knew that she needed to focus. He wouldn't....he wouldn't.... he was suddenly feeling very light headed. Looking down, he could see blood, his blood, starting pool beneath him. So that's why I'm so tired, he thought to himself. He tried to reach for his medkit, only to find that it was gone!

Quietly, he laid his head down. He just needed some sleep. He'd be right as rain as soon as...

His thoughts stopped as his heart slowed to a dangerous rhythm. Suddenly, his body went into survival mode. A cocoon started to form around him.

Serenity sealed the door behind them and stepped back to the security console. “Separation in 30 Seconds. Everyone to your posts!” She hit the comm and announced it. [[Separation in 30 seconds!]]

Baeryn saw David's cocoon start to form, her first reaction was to go to him, alert medical and get him somewhere safe. But what was safe anymore? She knew his body was now in survival mode and there was little any of them could do to help him now, besides she had to focus on ridding the Elysium of the infestation of Green's men. Taking her place in the command chair, Baeryn braced herself for separation.

==Deck 2==

Kaden was on deck 2 checking the diplomatic rooms for anyone that might need help since leaving Freya back on Deck 4 hoping she was safe while he went to go help the crew fight off whomever was on board. He quietly paced down the corridor phaser in one hand the hilt of the sword on his back in the other his assassin skills made it easy to not make any noise. The barkeeper worked his way to the bridge if he was going to kill a ship full of people the bridge was a good place to start. But he was coming to land a hand see if the Captain could use his skills to help them out of this mess.

Heading to the turbolift he could hear voices of men and slowed down to hear what they are saying.

“It’s locked down, Sir.”

“Well get it open, Green, is up there he may need our help.”

“Yes, Sir, I’m trying.”

Kaden came around seeing a large group of armed men their backs turned to him he had element of surprise which was good this be quick. That was before two more armed intruders carrying a crate came around the corner from behind stopping when they saw Kaden. For moment they stood there just looking at one another when one suddenly dropped his side of the crate going for his weapon. Acting fast Kaden grabs his wrist and disables him with an elbow to the face.

The commotion from behind startles the others who go for their weapons but Kaden double taps two of them before dodging as a they spray fire into their comrades with the crate. Before he charges the nearest intruder, striking him in the throat, double-taping under the chin while slicing up another with his sword.

As their bodies fall lifeless Kaden rolled on the floor cutting the legs out from another soldier applying him a headlock before finishes him off with a double-tap of his phaser. The remaining guards unload on their slain comrade as Kaden uses his corpse for a shield before tossing his body off to one side knocking the crate and it’s contents of vials inside over.

Back on his feet with each step Kaden fires his phaser taking two more down before one of the soldiers grabs his wrists struggling over the phaser. But one of the other soldiers charge in. BANG the phaser goes off shooting Kaden in the leg, causing him to lose his grip as the phaser falls to the floor it quickly kicked out of reach.

Despite the pain from his leg Kaden elbow strikes then tosses the gunman over his shoulder before mule kicking the other coming to help, knocking the wind out of him. Twisting around clinching the soldier by the head Kaden devastates him with three knees to the face just the other soldier stands up. Pulling a blade of his own out from his waist band, a smile on his face.

Gripping his sword Kaden was about to attack when he is ambushed by a lieutenant they struggle until the soldier stabs him in the shoulder. Only to be head butted in the face slamming into a nearby wall, jars his grip loose from his blade. Kaden then quickly runs the soldier thru with his sword. Before the Lieutenant springs from the other side, pushes Kaden into the center of the corridor crushing the spilled vials beneath their feet.

The Lieutenant strikes Kaden’s wounded shoulder twice before he kicks him in the chest causing him to fall to his back crushing more vials underneath, before springing up to his feet. Blocking a kick from his assailant Kaden grabs him by the shirt of his uniform. however, the Lieutenant breaks free connecting the barkeeper’s face with his fist three times.

But Kaden kicks out his leg sending him to the ground clinching his sword diving down, grabbing his face, they struggle until the former assassin runs his sword thru the Lieutenant. Laying on top of him for a moment Kaden slowly rolled off him onto his back on top of the crushed vials. He laid on the floor but felt a sharp pain in his chest lifting his head he could see a blade dug in.

It didn't look too deep or was anywhere vital pulling it out he tossed it aside and tried to get up but could feel his body go limp. He could feel glass from the vials digging into his back what was in them? Many things was going thru his mind as racked his mind. He could feel his eyes getting heavy for some reason. Was he dying? Was this truly it for for him? What about his bar? what about his ship? what about Freya?

Freya, oh great what was going to happen to her? Trying to sit up Kaden wanted to get back to Freya but forgot he couldn't move. Matter of fact he was feeling nothing but pain from his wound and the glass. No this was not what Kaden wanted he was hoping to finally rid himself of his enemies marry Freya and grow old together with her. A tear rolled down his face he let down the woman he loved he tried to cry but couldn’t instead he suddenly blacked out.

==Deck 13- Starfleet Academy==

Staff Sergeant Gami's armor was covered in blood and dented is several places as she sucked in air, causing her lungs to ache as she looked out at the piles of bodies that littered the deck. 'Damn, must have broken a few ribs,' she thought. Two Marines had been killed in the close quarters fighting and four more were wounded--First squad was out of the fight for the moment as she collapsed against a nearby bulkhead. She opened her comm and spoke. "This is Staff Sergeant...Gami. Deck Thirteen...clear... Request medical assistance..."

Three of the Academy's students gingerly stepped out from the forcefield, shocked at the carnage before them. "Um, are you ok, ma'am?" asked an Bolian female as she slowly approached Gami.

"Don't call...me ma'am. I work...for a living," Gami replied, turning to look at the young woman, taking in several deep, painful breaths.

One of Green's enhanced soldiers burst through the door, only to be met by a Klingon Cadet with his Bat'leth. Cadet Kay'vek stared at the soldier. "You come aboard, you dine with the Captain... Under the banner of truce, and you dare disgrace our offer of peace by a surprise attack!!!" Kay'vek spoke as calmly as ever, but in his voice was a hint of calm focus. "I should kill you, but I do not kill cowards."

"You are the most freakish of all these alien scum." The super soldier barked, drawing a knife. Kay'vek simply stared at the soldier and stunned him with his phaser. "You have to earn the right to face my blade, Coward."

Sensing another enemy, Gami pushed herself up with the aid of the bulkhead. She hoped Medical was on their way as she took a heavy step towards the enemy as she rounded a corner and spotted a Klingon student and an enemy soldier that had been stunned. A part of her wanted to kill the soldier. "Get him sedated before he recovers," she trained her rifle on the stunned enemy. "Not bad, cadet," she complimented the Klingon student. She wondered if Medical was on their way as she had not heard a response from them as of yet.

Kay'vek gave a slight nod. "Is there any here who can handle weapons. We cannot let these cowardly toba seize control of our ship, and our academy. Furthermore I would not kill this pile of rotten forshack. These cowards do not deserve to die."

==Engineering==

The Engineers were making sure no one was getting into Engineering. Victor made a mental note to thank the Security Chief one day because of the Security Personnel who were set up. The force fields made it difficult from anyone breaking into Engineering.

==MEDICAL GROUP==

" Get thessse men ressstrained and into seconed ward. Sssomeone get my almanac and contact anyone who'sss a ssspecalist in genetic engineering including the one marked crazy Klingon nun." He barked back over his shoulder at his staff who where staring with a look of astonishment.

Katherine spoke. "I can treat them... But we'll need to act fast... Dr. Sthilg. Can you put me on your shipwide intercom?"

The gorn tapped and handed over his combadge as he grabbed one of green's men who was going for something in his pockets. " Oh no you don't." He said grabbing and firmly holding the man's hands behind his back.

Katherine spoke in her usual soft voice. "Attention New Cannanite soldiers. This is Doctor Katherine Taylor., I am a New Cannanite Doctor.. If you have taken the Eugenic Enhancers, Listen to me carefully. In about ten to twenty minutes... Your bodies immune system will begin rejecting your enhanced genetic tissue. This is a painful and horrible way to die. I have already found one of your comrades dying from genetic rejection. I don't know if I can do anything for him but ease his passing. If you do not cease this violence and come to sickbay to save yourself... I guarantee you by the founders name... You. wil. die. very. soon. Please stop this.. Please summon the humanity inside you to save yourself."

--- Meanwhile, on the bridge ---

A look was shared between them as the few who were still with him heard the announcement. The three he had left were glancing between themselves before looking back to their leader. One broke a smile, another chuckled. The last one was laughing in barks and short, harsh breaths as he continued bashing away at the door in front of him with his bare fists.

President Green shook his head, walking over to the console that one of his men had been helping him fiddle with. "Have you figured out how to respond?"

"I... think so." He replied with a shrug, tapping a spot on the panel with his finger. A light surrounded a command line that read 'announcement mode: all decks'.

James took that as his cue. He cleared his throat carefully to avoid the itching feeling near his tonsils that threatened to make him cough. There was no microphone or clearly indicated apparatus for speaking, so he just spoke in the general direction of the console in front of him.

"Attention all hands," He said as his hand grasped the side of the console, "this is Grand Marshal James Green. The woman who just spoke is a known element in Veridey City. She is a dissident and a foolish believer of false claims made by ignorant fools who don't understand our process or vision. You are the chosen few who will inherit the Green Legacy. Do not be deceived. Do not lose focus. Do not hold back. Show no mercy."

The comm signal shut down.

Naxea aided the medical staff in restraining the enemy. She was worried about the rest of the ship, especially her Marines. Placing the shackles on the last of the enemy, she turned to Sthilg. "I need to keep moving, if you're good here, Doc."

Olivia had been working on checking up on a couple of the patients that had been treated and moved towards the back to make more room for the incoming that needed treatment. She heard Sthlig as for his almanac and headed towards his office where he kept certain files and books. "I've got the almanac for you Commander," Olivia called out as she headed in his direction.

" We've got thisss my freind now go." Sthilg said as he grabbed one of the soilders. The man stank with blotches appearing on his skin as his adrenal glands began poping. " Olivia turn it to page 345 and ssstart calling everyone i've lissted and put them on holo call in ward two." He said as he hauled the soilder onto one of the biobeds who him strapped down before going to get another."

"On it Commander," Olivia said as she turned to page 345. Once she got to the page indicated, Olivia went over to one of the communication panels and started making the calls to those listed. As she got each person on the screen, Olivia connected them to the holo screen in ward two for Sthlig. She just hoped that worked out for all concerned.

As a psychiatrist, Tate had seen her fair share of the agitated people, but these particular circumstances were unlike any she had ever seen before. Under different circumstances she might've been able to sedate the soldiers in question, but given their genetic enhancements, they could only hope other treatment would suffice.

In the meantime, she was grateful to have the assistance of security, although she had to ensure no one got hurt in the process, including their combative patients. Even under the circumstances, professional oaths still applied.

Damien had stayed quiet throughout much of the situation, focusing on helping to restrain the enemies instead. He also didn't trust himself to speak too much. He hadn't been in a situation like this before, and he wasn't sure what would happen if he opened his mouth. All of his mind power was currently focusing on remembering his training.

When the Colonel left, part of him wanted to go with her. To leap into action and help defend his ship. His home. His family. But he didn't know how much help he'd be, and right now, all his instincts were telling him to stay put in Medical. So that was where he would stay. He took up a position near to the currently restrained enemies, Phaser at the ready, awaiting his orders.

[[Separation in 30 seconds!]]

Nodding at Sthilg, Naxea and her Marines began to move on. "We're headed for the bridge," she shouted out. Double timing it down the corridor with her rifle at the ready, she hit her comm link, pausing a moment before speaking to allow time for her communicator to encrypt the communication. "Colonel Azhul to Marines, status report."

"Sergeant Gami here, Colonel. First Squad and I secured the Academy but we're out of the fight...two casualties, and the rest of us...are wounded."

Naxea could hear the labored breathing of Gami. "Is Medical en route?"

"Unknown at this time, ma'am. I sent a request out but haven't gotten a reply," came the reply that flushed Naxea's face red with anger. Where the hell was Sergeant Leilani Charles?

"Stay there. I'll get help to you ASAP. Azhul, out. Colonel Azhul to Medical, I have injured Marines on Deck 21 that require immediate attention and have requested previous medical assistance!" Arriving at a Jeffries tube access panel Naxea keyed in her access code, unlocking the hatch before climbing in and heading upwards.

Leilani was still in Marine country, so far she’d been pretty lucky in avoiding any of the invading bad guys she just hoped her luck held out. She couldn’t help but wonder what was happening with George outside the ship in his fighter, and Emily, who was now carrying Leilani & George’s baby. She just had to hope she was safe. Her thoughts were disturbed as Naxea’s voice came over the comms. “Understood Colonel I’m enroute!” Leilani grabbed her emergency bag and cautiously headed for deck 21.

== ELSWHERE==

Gary listened to reports coming in from through out the ship. The crew seemed to have the upper hand in most areas except the bridge. Green's soldiers still held that for now.

[[Separation in 30 seconds!]]

==Several Lightyears away==

Several small ships suddenly dropped out of warp. They were the Raptors flown by George and the cadets. As soon as they were back in real space, George started transmitting an S.O.S. on all Starfleet and friendly channels. Hopefully, someone would respond sooner rather than later. Their starfighters had just enough fuel left to get back to the Elysium.

After several hours of transmitting the message, while conserving enough fuel to get home, suddenly a response was heard.

"Federation vessel, this is Captain Lortian, of the IKV Fr'elstar'R. We have recieved your message, and will rendezvous with the Elysium in twelve hours. Return to your commander and relay my message. Qa'pla!" The signal then closed.

"Uh, okay?" George said aloud in his cockpit. He then opened the group comm channel. "Alright, nubies, help is gonna reach the Elysium in twelve hours. Lets high tail it back home at let Vaotain Carrington know the good news. Form up on me for the return trip."

In unison, the group of starfighters pivoted one-hundred-eighty degrees and jumped back into warp. George hust hoped that everything was fine back home and that Leilani, their unborn child and Emily were safe and unharmed.

[[Separation in 30 seconds!]]

Neri cursed and all but shoved Reece to the hole in the wall. There in the hole were several phaser rifles, and a number of smaller bladed weapons from all races.

As Kyle looked over the impressive arsenal, he started to grin. "This Captain Lalor is my kind of woman!" He grabbed several of the blades that looked like they were designed to be thrown. He then checked the battery on the rifle he was currently using. It was down to half charge. He grabbed another and slung it over his back. Now better armed, he moved back to the door that was being dented heavily from the constant beatings from the bridge. He aimed his rifle, leaving it on full power, but adjusting the beam width to maximum. " If y'all are planning on getting that hatch open, I'd do so now! That door's not gonna hold much longer!"

Tonya grabbed several of the small blades plus one bat’leth. She thought for a moment of her Klingon Blood Sister Bella who gave her many lessons with it. “QAPLA! Do not worry, I have handled one many times.” She placed a phaser on her belt for safe keeping.

Snow replicated a grip so he could hold one of the phasers. His alarm was started to blare about his power being low.

Neri moved to the desk and began pulling back the carpet. She opened the hatch. “It goes down to deck 2.” She said, “Near transporter room 1”

Lovejoy nodded. “Ensign, you get the Counsellor to medical. Snow and King are with you.”

“Aye sir”

Neri moved to help King lift the Counsellor. Being Andorian, her strength was higher than a normal humans.

Tonya sighed as she had to place the bat’leth down. “Do not worry. You will be okay.”

Neri waved Snow and King into the tube and then she lowered Alicia into the tube for King to grab.

Tonya knew the sense of urgency, so she gingerly came into the tube.

Lovejoy turned and watched the door slowly break open. "Taylor, Reece, focus fire on that gap!"

Kyle immediately let loose. Firing his rifle into the breach that was forming in the door. The first of Green's men that was hit, screamed for a split second, as he was hit in the face. His body quickly disintegrating. He then fired again through the breach, in an attempt to keep Green and his other two men at bay. "Taylor, go!" He said to his fellow senior officer. "I'll pull up the rear!"

Lovejoy calmly finished arming himself and had to agree that Lalor had left them with a fair assortment of weaponry. Woman must have been paranoid.

T'Kara raised her eyebrows at the small armoury and picked up a hand phaser. She had much more than a phaser at her disposal, even if she could get her hands on their necks.

==Jeffries Tubes==

Naxea continued to climb up the shaft of the Jeffries Tube, passing a marker labeled 'Deck 08'. Pain was shooting through her arm at the workload required of it despite the motor assist band. The device was made for everyday use, not combat and at the moment, it was being worked overtime. Sweat dripped from her face, matting her hair at the ends. She was thankful to not also hauling the weight of the Marine Assault Armor as she crawled. She stopped as she realized Deck Eight was the Main Shuttlebay. "Come on, Man'darr, I have a plan."

"Right behind you boss," came the reply from the large Capellan Marine.

Naxea crawled out of the hatch to the relief of her arm. So far it was clear. "Let's get to the shuttles. We can use their transporters for site to site transport. Let's move." Entering the shuttle bay, Naxea noted a few Security guards guarding the entrance as they jumped upon her entering.

"Geez, Colonel. You scared us half to death," stated a human female with blonde hair.

"Stay at your post. "I'm going to use the transporter in the shuttles to help out our crew."

"Aye ma'am," came the reply.

Finding a runabout nearby, Naxea sprinted over to it, opening it's hatch. "Alright, lets get powered up," she said as she sat down in the pilot's seat. Looking over the vast array of controls, Naxea recalled the basic flight class she had underwent. "Alright..." she whispered as she began to press a series of panels. A moment later, the interior and exterior lights powered on and sensors became active as the engines powered up into standby mode. Tapping various more panels, she Opened a comm link on a secured emergency channel not regularly used. "Attention crewe of the Elysium. This is Colonel Azhul. Please respond should you need an evac or a site to site transport."

"This is Snow." The robot bleep in delight as he heard the communication. " Please lock onto Commander Alicia and beam her straight to sickbay. Have a surgical team on standby. "

Getting up and jumping into the Operations seat, Naxea opened a channel to sickbay. "Colonel Azhul to Sickbay, incoming medical patient. It is requested a surgical team standby. Snow, do you require transport as well?"

" Negative I have to stay here in case of more wounded." The small robot said calmly.

"Colonel Azhul to Snow, prepare for patient transport." Naxea instinctively flinched as several rounds impacted the runabout.

She turned to instantly hear a man yell, and saw her XO, Lieutenant Tanner crumple to the deck as Man'darr returned fire with his heavy automatic phaser. She knew it didn't look good for Tanner.

Naxea worked quickly. "Sickbay, make that two incoming patients!" Quickly activating the transporter, Naxea transported Commander Alicia to sickbay and then target Lieutenant Tanner and did the same as she watched his body dematerialize off of the deck, leaving only a pool of blood behind.

Grabbing her CQB rifle, Naxea joined Man'darr in fighting the small squad of humans.

The steady stram of phaser pulses from Man'darr heavy weapon ripped into tow of the enhanced humans, dropping them as Naxea took down a third. Naxea was striuck from behind, sending her sprawling out onto the deck as an enahanced human had snuck in from the other hatch and was now rushing after Naxea as she tumbled.

As the enhanced hum leaped to jump on top of Naxea, he was caught in mid air by the throat and tossed hard to the deck as Man'darr stepped forward with a large grin on his face behind the face plate of the Marine Assault Armor that he wore. "You want some, you come and get you some, you cowardly bastard."

The human yelled in fury as he raised his weapon at Man'darr, who was quicker thanks to training and being Capellan as he expertly tossed a razor sharp three bladed throwing disc used by Capellans called a Kligat, with full strength. In the second it took for the human to raise his weapon at Man'darr the weapon tore into the man's neck, slicing through, decapitating him as the weapon landed on the deck behind the man.

Man'darr grinned as he walked over to retrieve his weapon after having dispatched the last of Green's soldiers in the shuttlebay. "No need to lose your head," he casually commented to the headless body as he knelt down to retrieve his weapon.

Walking over to Man'darr, Naxea patted the man on the back, stepping next to him. "Good work. Let's go and make sure the rest are dead."

==Sickbay.==

" Jussst ssshut up." Sthilg yelled at the last of green's men as he strapped him to one of the biobeds. Even with half the man's organs liquefying he still keep yelling about how they would all be purged. Around ten holograms now filled the room of the various professionals from the medical field doing their best to work up something that could help these men. Their best lead was using a counter agent developed by Hong Kong during the third world war to counter whatever green maniacs had made up.

Outside Vise was rushing Alicia into one of the surgical wards. Part of the young cybersurgeon wanted to get Sthilg, but her training told her that he was needed on the bigger issue. She'd done her training as an emergency sureon and now a patient needed her.

BATTLE BRIDGE

“SEPARATION COMMENCING!” Sapphire called out as she gripped her console.

Miraj, boots off and bare toes dug into the carpet under the conn felt the shudder though the whole space frame as the massive bolts that held the drive section to the saucer section pulled back sharply. The vibrations ran through it and up her spine with a shiver and the sense of mass around her changed suddenly. She dragged a thumb down the power guage and engaged thrusters to pull them away from the saucer section. "This vehicle is reversing," she muttered darkly, "How far do we want to back up?"

“We will be clear at 15000 meters” Sapphire said from Operations

Miraj sniggered. "I'm at the helm. You can move the decimal points 4 points to the left and we'd be fine. If you want to start something sooner, i can handle it."

"Before we start firing on our own ship attempt to open communications. I have a feeling Green wont surrender, but with a ship locked out hes defenseless against us." Baeryn ordered.

Sapphire gave a shrug and hit the comm. “No response.” She said after a moment.

Serenity considered their options. “I could beam Marines into the bridge” She suggested.

Sapphire frowned at her console. “I have something!” She called out. “Deck 2, Commander Lovejoy’s comm badge just pinged there. As has Commander Aurelia Taylor‘s, Commander T’Kara’s and Commander Reece’s.” She announced. “We could send them some support.”

“Any on the bridge?” Serenity asked from Security

“no, and life signs, are ... captain’s ready room, nothing on the Bridge.” Sapphire announced

"Send troops to assist Commander Lovejoy and another group to the bridge. Tell them to proceed with caution, we don't know who's in the ready room..." Baeryn ordered.

"Aye" Serenity replied

They were a scant 500 meters from the Saucer section now, far enough that their own deflectors buzzed to life as they lost the pulse from the main dish on the saucer section. "We're away now." She announced. "Shields and fields are discrete and on drive section power." She looked over her shoulder to Baeryn. "What's our next move?"

"Ready to target the Impulse engins, I don't want them going anywhere." Baeryn ordered, knowing the amount of damage taking out the engins would be but better the ship was damaged then ceased. "Turn us about to get a better angle Ensign."

===SEPARATION COMPLETE!=== ECHOED THROUGH THE SHIP.

==Deck 13- Starfleet Academy==

Staff Sergeant Gami watched as the students finished securing the remaining prisoners. Leaning against the bulkhead, Gami took in a painful breath just as she sensed someone new coming. She sensed the person was friendly and seemingly concerned with treating wounded. She turned as the person rounded the corner. "Good to see you, Sergeant."

==Ready Room/Bridge==

Lovejoy gritted his teeth as he helped Aurelia and T’kara into the hatch. “Reece!” he barked out. “The separation will make it harder for Green to collate his forces..”

Then the Door blew in!

Kyle had had enough. He physically shoved everyone to the escape hatch, using his bulk as a shield, laying constant fire on the open doorway. "MOVE!!"

Lovejoy pushed Aurelia and T’Kara into the hatch and then grabbed Reece and pulled him back as they fired. They followed the others into the hatch and down to deck 2.

The broken door to the ready room stopped moving. The smell of burnt flesh lingered in the air as the last of a dying man's scream was consumed by thirty-thousand-degree plasma. No more movement could be seen.

Ten seconds passed before a large and powerful thud smacked into the door, bending the already damaged and peeled-back metal into the opposite direction around the edges of the doorway. Again, the two super soldiers ran and kicked the door in unison. This time, the doors didn't bend- they shattered. The structural failure was shared between the threshold and the door itself as all the pieces snapped away from each other. The whole thing came down, falling onto the floor with a resounding and heavy clack.

Both of the super-soldiers came into the room with the fallen door, landing on it and rolling inside. Their bodies snapped into form as they rolled into a three-point landing, their heads popping forward, left, and right like animals looking for prey.

"Well," James said with a low pitch rolling in his throat, "that was anti-climactic." The ready room was empty. Was there an escape path built-in? Where did they go?

The two troops inched their way around the ready room, looking for clues.

The hatch behind the desk was askew. And there was a hole in the wall.

==Deck 2==

Neri was watching the corridor they had dropped in as Snow and Alicia were beamed away.

She looked at King. “Tonya, get ready, we are probably going to have to fight our way out of this.”

Tonya pulled out her phaser as she kept one blade she had picked up earlier tucked in behind her neck as the other blade was strapped to a garter belt holster. She said in a whisper, “Shhhhh. Someone is coming.”

Neri nodded and aimed and fired as people rounded the corner, narrowly missing their own people. “Opps Sorry” She said as three security officers joined them.

Behind them Aurelia and T’Kara dropped in along with Lovejoy and Reece.

Lovejoy looked around. “Secure this area and prepare for incoming.” He ordered the Security officers.

Green would be behind them for sure soon enough.

Reece looked at Lovejoy, resolve in his features and voice. "Sir, your place is not here. As the Captain, you need to get to safety. I will remain here with the security officers and we will stop Green, Sir."

Garrett gritted his teeth and nodded. "Very well" He said. "I will head for the turbolifts and see if we can secure them. T'Kara, you and King with me"

He turned and headed off Not waiting for the two officers to follow.

Tonya headed to the turbo lift quickly. “Yes Sir,” she replied.

Heavy boots hit the floor as several hundred pounds of muscle pounded down into it. A hoarse but resounding voice boomed, "Boyscout!"

James Green was the only one there, at first. Several seconds later, two more sets of boots hit the ground and began to follow.

"You and I aren't finished, yet, boy!" The Grand Marshal's fingers curled into fists, the knuckles popping from the escalating tension. He ran forward, his men on his flank. "Get the others, this one is mine." His men followed orders without a second thought and left the two of them to their fight.

Kyle suddenly knew that this was going to be a fight to the finish. There would be no retreat. Not this time. Seeing that Green was closing to fast for him to bring his rifle to bear, Kyle tossed it away and readied himself for his charging foe.

James didn't stop this time as he sprinted straight into Kyle, attempting a clothesline.

In a move tgat belied his sheer size, Kyle bent backwards, dropping to the deck, as Green steamed past him. Once he was clear, Kyle performed a perfect shoulder flip back up onto his feet, turning back to face Green again.

The dodge was so clean that James found himself overextending with his arm swinging through thin air. He planted himself into the floor with his left heel before his momentum could take him skidding away, immediately bringing the right arm that had missed back around in an elbow to Kyle's face.

The speed of the hit was blinding, and caught Kyle before he could fully prepair himself. Stumbling back a few oases, blood flowed freely down his face, from his broken nose.

James grinned as his opponent was momentarily stunned, turning to face him fully. As he took his first step, however, there was a gargle. James' eyes widened for a moment as his step faltered and he grabbed at his throat. He cleared his throat with a loud cough, sending blood splattering onto the floor.

There was a moment of confusion as his eyes seemed to dart around for answers. Then it seemed to click. Whatever he'd figured out, it brought him into a quiet rage as his eyes stared coldly past everything around him, piercing through the bulkheads down towards the planet below.

His momentary advantage against Kyle hadn't just gone away, it had turned right around into something worse.

Sensing tgat this was the only moment he'd get, Kyle launched himself at Green, the two men brawling like wild animals. Each managed to land several goid hits to the other, slowly breaking each other down.

Finally, Green threw a wild right hook at Kyle's head, but the veteran warrior managed to catch the fist in his own. In a flash, Kyle had twisted Green's wrist with his right hand, while he brought he left arm up into Green's right elbow joint, in a reverse hammer strike. There was a socking crunch, and the elbow suddenly bent the entire wrong direction.

Before Green could react, Kyle locked up the broken arm, twisting it further back, forcing Green's chest up and out, and his head back. In a flash, Kyle lashed out with his right hand towards Green's exposed throat. In a busrt of extreme strengty and rage, Kyle ripped out Green's Adam's apple with his bare fingers!

Suddenly, Green's eyes grew as eide as saucers, as he choked on his own blood. Dropping to the deck, he managed to reach up to his destroyed throat, blood squirting out rapidly, then collapsed onto the deck, finally dead.

The Cananite soldiers pulled out their recently-supplied weapons, aiming fully automatic pistols downwind at the Starfleet officers and their newly appointed Captain. There were no insults, no jibes, no banter from them. They only fired their weapons in a dead run to catch their enemy. Bullets flew and pinged off the walls in a hail.

There was a momentary lapse in fire as their weapons ran dry and they began to reload mid-run.

Tonya came with in two inches from getting grazed. She does her classic pirouette whipped turn as she fires at them both of the soldiers. She hit one dead on as he fell like an oak tree to the floor as the other one had his automatic pistol knocked out of his palm. Tonya landed this time not twisting her ankle. The one with no weapon in his hand gave stare at Tonya.

“Don’t do it,” Tonya said as she felt she should not fire at unarmed man.

The man went for it fast but Tonya was faster. “Warned you. Commander, let’s get the hell out of dodge.”

The resulting battle was short and complete as the Elysium crew finished the job and the now dead men lay on the deck.

Lovejoy hit his comm. "Avalon!"

The AI appeared. "Commander?"

"Broadcast around the ship." She nodded.

"Attention This is Commander Lovejoy, Commanding Officer of the USS Elysium. President Green is dead. All Cananite soldiers are to surrender immediately and all Starfleet personnel are to stun them for beaming down to the surface" He looked at the AI who nodded again and cut the connection.

Lovejoy looked at the group. "Lets clean this mess up"
